Doing 'Down Days' Well -

Doing ‘Down Days’ Well

Thanks Vesna, you are spot on, and it is great to be reminded of the ups and downs of life and whatever the state, it too shall pass. Uncomfortableness is hard to just ‘be’ with, but I suppose that is just what we need to do. Not paying ‘it’ too much attention is good advice. Thanks.

Good timing Vesna, thank you! Today I got some news I didn’t want to hear & above everything else it just became enormous. Your post made me take a step back and think a little more before reacting. Thanks so much ????

Thank you Vesna! Its wonderful to have something I came to believe during this past year validated by someone else. Although you added some tips that adds to my further well being. Thank you.

Shame that you finished your talk just as it was getting to the really good bit! 🙂 Eg: dealing with feeling down in response to how our lives currently are (and feeling stuck), not knowing what the next move is and how to ‘fix” it. By not taking action the situation wont change for the better and trying not to pay attention to a circumstance that makes you feel unhappy and you know is your responsibility to manage is a challenge!

But i suppose that’s what you were saying, that it serves us better, in our quest for life direction answers, to be in a more positive and calm frame of mind first so that we can tap into clearer thinking and make better decisions. Trying to force out sustainable ‘brain wave’ ideas when we are feeling reactive from fear /overwhelm just doesn’t end well.

This was perfect timing. Thank you. I’ve been stuck in that cycle recently. Time to not try so hard in changing it and let it be.

  6. Jill says:

Thank you Vesna, great to be reminded not to make big decisions or ‘urgent’ changes on a down day. Taking pause is excellent advice! Ta!
