How to run your body like your business.
I work with women in business all the time, and I'm a woman in business, so I can understand that in order to run a successful business you need to have lots of focus, commitment, perseverance, grit, all of the above. What I notice with women in business is that they have those qualities for their business and have that commitment. They have that super focus to get everything done that they need to get done.
If you're running your own business you'll understand that what you put in, is what you get out. You run your business on a strategy, an overarching strategy. But what about your health? I know that you wouldn't just jump onto Google and look at what you can do as a strategy for your business. But would you for your health?
The reason why I talk about health as a strategy for a business, is because a healthy body equals a healthy business. If you're really busy, as soon as your plate becomes full and you you have too much to do and there's too much on your to-do list, then you end up cutting some corners in your life and those corners will end up being your health and your wellness and your exercise.
All of your self-care stuff will be sacrificed. It's just natural But in order for you to have sustainability within your business, and to have that freedom that you want to feel within your business, I mean that's the reason why we have our business is so we can feel that freedom in our lifestyle then you need to start to include your health and wellness into the equation.
The number one currencies that I talk about is, as a personal currency that impacts the currency of your business is energy. Without energy, you're not going to get much done. It's hard to see a really successful person that's really tired and drained of energy. Obviously, we see successful people as having lots of energy and full of vitality and life force. So energy is a key currency for that reason, but also for productivity. It's hard to get much done in your business when you're tired, lethargic, feeling over it, and dragging yourself through the afternoon.
Energy is the super key currency, and energy is a reflection of your health and vitality. Energy is a really good marker of where your health is at. If your energy is low, then you need to improve your health and wellness. There are some other key currencies that I'm going to be talking about in my workshop this week.
